Privacy policy

Authorization

By activating your account you agree to the terms of use documented here. You accept these terms by creating a Profit for People account, through your use of the services provided by Profit for People, LLC, or by continuing to use the services provided by Profit for People, LLC after being notified of a change to these terms.

Data collection

You authorize Profit for People, LLC to collect data specified by your user settings. These settings default to the information required to set up a user account. You further authorize Profit for People, LLC to use the collected data, as specified by your user settings, for the purpose of conducting business to generate revenue by sharing the collected data, as is, as well as in aggregate and when analyzed with any other data available to Profit for People, LLC.

Cooperation with Authorities

By default, user collected information is not used. As a consequence, by default, no information can be shared or sold, and no revenue can be generated. While collected data will be shared for the purpose of business activities in accordance with user-specified settings, if compelled by law, Profit for People, LLC will share collected data with authorities.

Payment Liability

While Profit for People, LLC will pay its users, it is in no way obligated to do so, by either implicit or explicit contract made through its website or services. The nature of all monetary evaluations made by Profit for People, LLC is approximate, and further to maintain the highest quality of service, Profit for People, LLC reserves the right to both change its method of assessing monetary value and its method of assigning monetary value.

Right to censor

By activating your account, you authorize Profit for People, LLC the right to remove any content posted using this account without notice, and for any reason.

Code of conduct

By activating your account, you’re agreeing that, when using services provided by Profit for People, LLC, you will follow these rules:

  1. Don’t do anything illegal.
  2. Don’t engage in any activity that exploits, harms, or threatens to harm children.
  3. Don’t send spam. Spam is unwanted or unsolicited bulk email, postings, contact requests, SMS (text messages), or instant messages.
  4. Don’t publicly display or use the services, written or otherwise, provided by Profit for People, LLC to share inappropriate content or material (involving, for example, nudity, bestiality, pornography, offensive language, graphic violence, or criminal activity).
  5. Don’t engage in activity that is fraudulent, false or misleading (e.g., asking for money under false pretenses, impersonating someone else, manipulating the services provided by Profit for People, LLC to increase value, or affect rankings, ratings, or comments).
  6. Don’t circumvent any restrictions on access to or availability of the services provided by Profit for People, LLC.
  7. Don’t engage in activity that is harmful to you, Profit for People, LLC, or others (e.g., transmitting viruses, stalking, posting terrorist content, communicating hate speech, or advocating violence against others).
  8. Don’t infringe upon the rights of others (e.g., unauthorized sharing of copyrighted music or other copyrighted material)
  9. Don’t engage in activity that violates the privacy of others.
  10. Don’t help others break these rules.

Reservation of Rights and Feedback

Except as expressly provided under these terms, Profit for People, LLC does not grant you a license or any other rights of any type under any patents, know-how, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks or other intellectual property owned or controlled by Profit for People, LLC or any related entity, including but not limited to any name, trade dress, logo or equivalents. If you give to Profit for People, LLC any issue, action, idea, proposal, suggestion, comment, or feedback, including without limitation ideas for new products, technologies, promotions, product names, product feedback and product improvements ("Input"), you give to Profit for People, LLC, without charge, royalties or other obligation to you, the right to make, have made, create derivative works, use, share and commercialize your Input in any way and for any purpose. You will not give Input that is subject to a license that requires Profit for People, LLC to license its software, technologies or documentation to any third party because Profit for People, LLC includes your Input in them.

Limited liability

By activating your account, you agree to be solely responsible for any harm or damages to any party due to content that is posted to Profit for People, LLC using this account. Further, if you have any basis for recovering damages (including breach of these terms), you agree that your exclusive remedy is to recover, from Profit for People, LLC, direct damages up to an amount equal to your services fee for the month during which the loss or breach occurred (or up to $10.00 if the services are free). You can't recover any other damages or losses, including direct, consequential, lost profits, special, indirect, incidental, or punitive. These limitations and exclusions apply even if this remedy doesn't fully compensate you for any losses or fails of its essential purpose or if Profit for People, LLC knew or should have known about the possibility of the damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, these limitations and exclusions apply to anything or any claims related to these terms, the services provided by Profit for People, LLC, or the software related to the provision of services provided by Profit for People, LLC.

Right to deactivate

By activating your account, you authorize Profit for People, LLC the right to deactivate your account without notice, and for any reason.

Termination of account

Upon account termination (by you or by Profit for People, LLC), all access to services provided by Profit for People, LLC stop immediately. Any data you shared with Profit for People, LLC becomes disassociated with your account, or deleted, unless prohibited by law.

Service availability

The services provided by Profit for People, LLC may be unavailable from time to time and/or vary depending upon user location. Profit for People, LLC strives to maintain the availability of all services; however, disruptions will occur, and Profit for People, LLC is not responsible for any damages that may occur due to loss of service.

Updates to this agreement

Profit for People, LLC may change these terms at any time, and Profit for People, LLC will notify you when this happens. Using the services provided by Profit for People, LLC after the changes become effective means you agree to the new terms. If you don’t agree to the new terms, you must stop using the services provided by Profit for People, LLC, close your Profit for People account and, if you are a parent or guardian, help your minor child close his or her Profit for People account.

Updates to services provided by Profit for People, LLC

There may be times when Profit for People, LLC needs to remove or change features or functionality or stop providing a service. Except to the extent required by applicable law, Profit for People, LLC has no obligation to provide services or access to data available or provided to Profit for People, LLC. Profit for People, LLC may release its services or its features in a preview or beta version, which may not work correctly or in the same way the final version may work.

Reporting

Profit for People, LLC endeavors to uphold the highest ethical standard and will provide detailed information regarding the use of user provided information in the form of user-accessible reports. These reports will include information on data sharing, related business activities, and in those cases where it is legally acceptable, on the release of information to legal authorities. While Profit for People, LLC will engage in these reporting activities, it is in no way obligated to do so, except as required by law.
